Chillers are visuals that help you and your peers slow down and step back from stress. The Chiller Challenge is a contest that gives teens the opportunity to create the next Chillers for the Change to Chill website.
Examples of Chillers:
- Submissions can be uploaded using the submission form found under the Chiller Challenge tab on changetochill.org.
- Chillers can be photographs you have taken, your own artwork with text, or videos up to 30 seconds in length depicting how you chill.
- You should include text on your Chiller image(s) or video(s), as it increases the chances of winning. See the examples above.
- You are encouraged to submit as many Chiller designs and/or Chiller videos as you’d like.
Each month, up to 10 winning designs will be chosen based on creativity and originality. Winners will each receive a $25 e-gift card. Participants are not eligible to win more than two times in a 12-month calendar year.
One grand prize winner per month will receive a Change to Chill prize pack, a $25 e-gift card, and his/her Chiller will be featured on Change to Chill. All winning entries will be displayed indefinitely along with the teen’s first name and school.
Note: By submitting a design teens agree to transfer intellectual and property rights of the entry to Allina Health without further compensation. Allina Health will not return submissions. Allina Health is authorized to make any other alterations in the design to make it suitable for use on changetochill.org.
Insta Chill Challenge:
During the monthly Chiller Challenge selection process, selected participants will be offered a chance to participate in the Insta Chill Challenge, where Allina Health posts the teens’ Chiller images to the Change to Chill Instagram account.
If you are selected, you will recruit friends and family to follow Change to Chill on Instagram and ‘Like’ your Chiller image. The Challenge runs for one week and participants will be eligible to win a Change to Chill prize based on the number of ‘Likes’ that their Chiller image receives during the duration of the Challenge.
