Stress Re-leaf in Spring

Grow Your Resilience Practice with Change to Chill

Spring is right around the corner. That means spring cleaning, new blossoms, and a growth mindset. Here are a few ways you can grow your resiliency with Change to Chill:

  1. Get through those winter blues by using guided imagery to envision a calm, happy, and/or warm place. Check out our special place guided imagery script to get started!
  2. Make life balance part of your spring cleaning routine – keep what brings you joy and consider tossing the rest. Try using our values worksheet to help you prioritize.
  3. Spring can be a turbulent time. Try practicing mindfulness to help yourself live in the moment. You could even talk a mindful walk out in the warmer weather!

We encourage you to find what works for you and incorporate it into your routine. You may notice you’re more relaxed and stress free.

Living in Uncertain Times

The COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest due to violence against people of color have already placed significant mental and emotional stress on teens and adults. The news, images, and uncertainty coming from Ukraine in the last week may place an additional layer of stress on young people. Change to Chill offers resources to help teens and adults cope with grief and loss and build resiliency, even in the midst of uncertainty.

No matter how you may talk with the teens in your life about these traumatic events, we encourage you to also care for yourself in the process.
